This has gone too far, If you’re wondering why people can’t relate to us christian folk, and think we’re strange, ignorant, and uninformed, its because we choose to partake in stuff like this. The President is not going to spew magic words that taint the hearts and minds of our children. Encourage your children to be informed, the only way to do that is to listen to what everyone has to say, not just the guys you agree with.

Were they able to relate to Jesus when He was hanging on the cross? Or did they think He was strange?

My main concern for the walk out is that these kids will need prayerful covering. When they walk out there, there are going to be mad black and whites who will want to fight and might get into riots. I believe in making a statement, but some of these kids do not know that they could get hurt, martyred, thrown in jail. As I was praying tonite for this these words came to me to ask God to send His Armies to cover these kids who are going to walk out, stay at home etc. and there will be back lash to them doing it. So what I am asking for is prayer covering and to prayerfully ask God what you as a young person or the parent of a smaller child might do before you take action. I know now is the time to do something and I believe in standing up for what is right, but please pray for God’s love and mercy and protection over thses parents and children. God Bless You All, Laurie Howerton And please pray for the President as it says in God’s word.

This entire walk-out idea is so offensive it makes me ashamed to be American. We elected Obama president, we need to now stand behind him in his decisions.
He is not ‘indoctrinating’ our schools, he is our president, he has a right to address his citizenry. The Bush administration made MANY appearances in schools post 9/11, this is his right as president, and we need to not move towards organized religion, but towards a unified America.

Please, don’t incite a walk-out. It’s act of rebellion. There is another way. Let’s find it!
